Categories

Clicking on this menu point, you see a tree view of all created categories.

If the title of a category is clicked, the properties of the category is shown. Next to the title and the alias, a category also has a parent category assigned. Due to that, a category tree can be built.

The fields Special URL and Linkable determine, if a category is to be linked in the frontend (default: yes) and if there is a special URL it has to be linked to (e.g. to an external site or to a certain menu item in the website). These settings are used in all frontend views where a category can be linked.

Next to the description, a category can also have an image assigned. This image can be managed in the tab Images.
